“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:14-16

Lactation Consultant and Doula in Duluth, Minnesota

I’m a Certified Doula and Lactation Consultant out of Duluth, Minnesota! My days are full spending time with my husband, Alec, my baby boy, Rory, and our Mini Aussie Finnegan. We enjoy going on daily walks around Chester Creek and finding a new favorite restaurant. As a Christian, I believe God provides us strength when we need it, especially during this time.

My journey to motherhood has been more than complicated. January 2022 I saw my first pregnancy test. Unfortunately we found out our daughter, Mia, had died at 16 weeks due to a rare genetic condition called a partial molar. It was the hardest time in my life. We then decided to pursue IVF and brought home Rory, in October 2023! I ended up having a beautiful labor with Rory, even though it didn’t go as planned.

In the midst of heavy grieving, I felt drawn even more than I had prior, to helping others through grief and loss, pregnancy, birth, and lactation.

Hi, I’m Bailey!

Why I chose to be a doula in Duluth, MN

My goal as your doula and lactation consultant is to make you feel educated, encouraged, and cared for no matter where you are or what you desire for your journey. I am passionate about pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding education, helping you make the best decision to pursue the path you desire. I believe there is no right or wrong way to birth and feed our babies, and that our bodies are built to do this.

As a loss mama, I feel drawn to help other families that are currently or have previously experienced loss. Pregnancy after loss is complicated and I hope to help those in the midst of this experience feel uniquely supported.
